BROWN IMANDE

Brown Imande is a passionate social impact leader, fashion entrepreneur and advocate for sustainable development.

She is the founder of Tcbybrown, a fashion enterprise dedicated to skill acquisition and empowerment in equipping tailors, aspiring designers, and young people with advanced dressmaking, pattern-making, and couture skills. Also, as a Tony Elumelu Foundation Alumni, she mentors small-scale businesses in fostering economic growth and creating employment opportunities.

Through her role as the Co-founder of SSADASA(Standsafe Society Against Drugs and Substance Abuse) she drives impactful advocacy for good health and wellbeing (SDG 3) through community engagement, awareness campaigns, and stakeholders engagement. She is also a member  of Re-cap Africa, an African organization where she contributes to innovative initiatives that advance social inclusion, empowerment, and sustainable community development. 

Recognized as a UPG Sustainable Leader, Brown has undergone international leadership training to champion the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and she actively advances SDGs 3, 4, 5, 8, 10 and 17, with a strong focus on building resilient communities, promoting gender equality, and fostering entrepreneurship as a pathway to social and economic transformation.      

MS. JOSEPHINE AYINDITIEM ETTA

Ms josephine Ayinditiem Etta is a Public Health Specialist and a seasoned professional on various health matters. She graduated from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, with a Masters in Health Services and Public Health Research with a speciality in public health. She obtained a bachelor of science degree in Human Physiology from the University of Calabar, Nigeria.

Ms. Josphine is the Head of Advocacy and Sensitization in Standsafe Society against drugs and substance abuse (SSADASA), where she caries out various advocacy and sensitization activity to individuals, groups, corporate bodies and educational institution. She advocates against the dangers of drug and substance abuse. She believes that all hands need to be on deck to fight drug abuse as the government alone may not be able to fight the increasing menace of drug and substance abuse in our society.
