WHO WE ARE
Standsafe Society against Drugs and Substance Abuse (SSADASA) is a Non-Government Organization (NGO) with headquarters in Abuja established to prevent Drug and Substance abuse and also provide mental health care and support to individuals and communities in general. WHAT WE DO
Over the years SSADASA have been working in the following thematic areas
EDUCATION
Advocacy and Sensitization on drugs and substance abuse.
CARE & SUPPORT
Clinical Support and Rehabilitation services is provided in support for drug addicts.
MENTAL HEALTH
We provide treatment and Counselling, Emotional Intelligence and general hygiene for drug addicts journey through their recovery process.
EMPOWERMENT
Technical skills that are required from IT and business administration to health care and education.
GRASSROOT CAMPAIGN ON DRUG ABUSE
We organize campaign Sensitization on drugs and substance abuse down to the rural communities that are mostly affected in Nigeria.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Free enterpreneurship training programs for growth and development.

To Reduce Drug and Substance Abuse to the barest minimum, integrate recovered Drug Abusers into society and Provide a sustainable platform and mechanism to empower, train and provide livelihoods to rehabilitated drug users and mental health disorder victims within our communities by 2030.
WHY SSADASA
Nigeria has been ranked highest in Drug abuse at 14.3% as against UNODC 5.3% statistics, but as at 2015 – 2021, Drug Abuse has increased by 45% according to UNDOC statistics with 67% of drug abusers being the youths. 45-65% of the Crime rate in Nigeria has been linked to Drug Abuse (Nigeria Bureau of Statistics).
